Craniosynostosis Awareness Month: Maximus' story

After Maximus Mireles was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, his mother, Stephanie, started to worry. Her son’s surgery was delayed several times and while their family waited for resolution, the pressure in Max’s brain continued to increase. Thankfully, Stephanie sought out the expertise of David F. Jimenez, MD, FACS.

Stephanie said that her family fell in love with Dr. Jimenez right away. She was particularly impressed by his kindness and exigency in treating Maximus.
“Dr. Jimenez literally saved my son’s life,” she told us.

We are happy to report that ever since the procedure was completed, Max has been a healthy, happy kid!
