In an article published by the Washington Post, journalist Christie Aschwanden discusses the complicated issue of patients recording conversations with their physicians through the use of personal devices, such as cell phones. She addresses the controversial subject from both perspectives and brings to light important questions regarding transparency, objectivity, litigation, and trust. Aschwanden interviewed Professor Ali Seifi, MD, FACP for the piece because he explored the same topic in an article he co-authored in April that was published by the Journal of the American Medical Association.
