Pediatric Neurosurgery

UT Health Pediatric Neurosurgery specializes in treating injuries and deformities of the spine, head, and brain for newborns, toddlers, and older children.  Dr. Tarasiewicz works with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for any child with a neurologic injury or condition. We specialize in pediatric neurosurgery with a focus on the management of spinal dysraphism and congenital malformations of the central nervous system. Our doctors are collaborating with UT Health’s multidisciplinary clinics to redefine the standard of care for children. These clinics cover a wide range of specialties, including neuro-oncology, spasticity, tethered cord/spina bifida, positional plagiocephaly, and craniofacial surgery.

Our clinics offer patients the unique opportunity to be evaluated by a multidisciplinary team on the same day.
