Univeristy of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy, Austin, TX Research Assistant, Dr. Robert. O. Williams III, Ph.D.

Conducted experiments with various formulations of enteric polymers to film coat hard gelatin capsules. Researched new techniques to prevent the capsules from dissolving in the acidic pH of the stomach, until reaching the higher pH of the small intestine.

Findings were reported at the annual meeting of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists in Nashville, TN in November 2005. [Abstract co-author],

Formulated and analyzed topical creams containing bioadhesive polymers and absorption-enhancing compounds. Tested the stability of the model drug, hydrocortisone, in these cream formulations stored under various conditions
